Abstract This blog will provide the reader a detailed analysis of two movies, ‘The Emoji Movie’ and ‘Snowpiercer’ on the basis of two theories, ‘The Culture Industry’ of the book ‘The Dialectic of Enlightenment’ by Theodor Adorno and Max Horkheimer, and ‘Ideology and Ideological State Apparatuses’ by Louis Althusser, respectively.
